Blind Embossing

Leather, faux leather, and paper — all of these materials are suitable for imprinting your logo using this technique. The logo is deeply pressed into the surface of the item. If you want to enhance the logo with colour, we can apply a coloured foil that, under pressure and high temperature, becomes permanently fixed to the surface.

Blind Embossing and Hot Stamping – Elegant Detail Enhancement Without Colour

Blind embossing, also known as dry embossing, is a technique that creates a raised or recessed effect on the surface without using colour. Through applied pressure, the design is pressed into the material, resulting in a subtle yet visually impressive mark. This method is ideal for decorating diaries, packaging, announcements, gift boxes, or leather products — anywhere you want to give your brand an elegant, understated look.

Hot stamping is often combined with metallic or coloured foils, giving products a luxurious appearance — such as gold or silver finishes. This technique is perfect for companies that value design, tactile quality, and premium presentation of their promotional materials.

Compared to techniques such as pad printing or screen printing, where colour and graphics play the main role, blind embossing focuses on refinement and tactile depth. For products that need to stand out visually or include fine technical details (e.g. metal pens or USB drives), laser engraving may be more suitable. For textiles or embroidered applications (like logos on company sweatshirts or caps), embroidery is often the preferred choice.

At Anatex, we always tailor the technology to each project — we recommend blind embossing wherever a brand should appear sophisticated and trustworthy at first touch.
